The Client

Our client is a company that specialises in complete drainage services to corporate clients managing domestic and small commercial drainage failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients’ needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse or a burst water pipe. Our client is intensely proud of what they do, and they are committed to getting the job done. They use their own knowledge and cutting-edge technology to put things right and will act swiftly every step along the way. Due to recent expansion, they currently have an opportunity for an experienced Sales & Account Manager to join their team in a remote/hybrid role, working autonomously with the support of their senior leadership team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Identify new market opportunities and sectors to drive business growth,

· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business development strategies.

· Develop and implement a robust business development plan that aligns with the company’s overall objectives.

· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients, and industry partners.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns, promotional materials, and digital content that target new and existing markets.

· Lead and manage the bid and tender process from inception to submission, ensuring that proposals are competitive and compelling.

· Work closely with technical teams to gather necessary information for tenders and ensure that client requirements are met.

· Provide accurate and meaningful information to senior management on sales pipelines and performance.

Key Requirements

· Extensive experience within a sales or account management environment, ideally within drainage or a similar sector

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills.

· Proactive and able to use own initiative to solve problems and implement processes.

· Leadership skills.

· Sales target and service driven with the ability to motivate others in the team towards achievement of targets.
