JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an SEO Specialist / Search Engine Optimisation Lead with proven experience in Search Engine Optimisation / Organic Search techniques using key word research tools, web page content analysis / audits and Google Analytics.

Working as the SEO Specialist / Search Engine Optimisation Lead you will be responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of client websites. This includes conducting keyword research, optimising website content, performing technical audits, and implementing SEO best practices.

As the SEO Specialist / Search Engine Optimisation Lead you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute SEO campaigns that drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.

DUTIES

Your duties as the SEO Specialist / Search Engine Optimisation Lead will include:

  • Improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends
  • Optimise website content, meta tags, and landing pages for search engines
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush
  • Lead on-page and off-page SEO initiatives, including link building and outreach
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices
  • Collaborate with content creators, developers, and other digital marketing specialists to align SEO efforts with overall marketing goals
  • Provide insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz)
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
  • Strong understanding of keyword research and optimisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Certification in Google Analytics and/or Google AdWords is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
