About the Role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming school in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for a maternity cover position starting in January 2024, with the potential for a permanent contract at the end of the academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring a love of learning and ensuring excellent progress for all learners. The role offers a supportive environment, a collaborative team, and the chance to make a real impact on students' education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Ensure all students are engaged, challenged, and supported in their learning.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning sessions, and school events.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students' academic and personal development.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Passion for education and inspiring students.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
