Hours of Work: Term Time only, up to 32 hours per week (Temp to Perm)
Starting Salary: £16’(Apply online only) - £18’(Apply online only)
Disclosure Level: Enhanced
Accountable to: SENDCo, Director of Learning, Principal and Class Teachers
Line Managed by: SENDCo
Main Purpose: To assist individual students and groups of students with special educational needs including physical disabilities, to learn, achieve success and develop Academy Competencies effectively in relevant activities in line with the Academy’s policies and procedures.
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working in an educational setting
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH/challenging behaviour
- A passion for the progress of pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
