Job Title: Day project Worker

Location:Bournemouth, Dorset

Wage and Hours:

  • £11.44 per hour for day shifts
  • Shifts are scheduled on a six-week rolling program.
  • Position includes 3 days. 2 days 8.30am - 4.30pm. 1day 2pm - 10pm

Contract:Permanent

Role Overview:
On behalf of our client we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Project Worker to join our team in a Bournemouth-based residential addiction recovery facility. This role involves supporting individuals on their journey to recovery by offering emotional, physical, and practical assistance.

Qualifications:
No specific qualifications or prior experience are required, though the following are advantageous:

  • The Care Certificate
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Essential training will be provided, and candidates must be willing to complete all required training.
  • Good people skills and basic computer literacy are essential.
  • Driving Licence is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely handle and administer medication
  • Complete assisted withdrawal checks and required documentation
  • Support service users in managing their recovery program
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries and expectations with clients
  • Conduct health and safety checks
  • Perform client welfare check-ins
