Support Workers - Bournemouth - ASAPAcademics are recruiting 2 to 3 Support Workers to join a residential home adjoined to a special needs school in Bournemouth. They have full positions available between Monday-Sunday so whatever your availability, please get in touch.

This would suit Support Workers with experience of working in either a care or special needs environment or someone with a genuine interest and passion for supporting others as training is provided.

Support Workers - BournemouthAlongside various shifts, they offer full-time 52 weeks a year positions as the residential home is open in the school holidays. This is ideal for parents who want to spend some of the holidays with their own children. A Support Workers role involves:

  • enabling young people to develop and make progress
  • providing physical, emotional and nurturing support
  • working as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment
  • ensuring health, safety, care and welfare of young people a priority

To be a successful Support Worker you will be a strong team player, confident, motivated and well organised. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all you'll be someone with a genuine desire to help others. You must be based in Bournemouth or be willing to commute to the area for work.
