Commissioning Officer

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council is looking for a Commissioning Officer to join their Children's Services. Expectation of 1 day a month in the office

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of commissioning plans
  • To contribute to needs analysis and other evidence collection in order to support the development, implementation, and review of children's services-related commissioning strategies.
  • To work with and to provide support to commissioning managers who have responsibility for producing and reviewing strategies related to children's services.

Requirements

  • Experience of commissioning projects including undertaking needs assessment for commissioning purposes, performance management and monitoring and review reporting with a focus on children's services
  • Experience of using management information
