Our client, a leading organisation in the IT sector, is seeking a Salesforce Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. This permanent role is integral to ensuring seamless, intuitive customer journeys by building and maintaining Salesforce and its associated integrations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the software development life cycle: build, maintain, test, deliver, release, and document user-friendly and customer-centric software solutions.
  • Deliver to standards: understand, adhere to, and apply defined technical and process standards, ensuring effective risk management and data protection.
  • Provide integrated solutions: ensure solutions are user-focused, strategically aligned, and effectively integrated across multiple teams and platforms.
  • Engage stakeholders: collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, propose solutions, and ensure desired outcomes.
  • Build and transfer skills and knowledge: develop personal skills and expertise, and assist junior Software Engineers in developing their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate within and across teams: work effectively with others across varying areas of expertise to achieve required results.


Job Requirements:

  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
  • Experience with Agile Software delivery (SCRUM).
  • Practical experience configuring Salesforce (coded and declarative).
  • Strong knowledge in Salesforce Administration including security model (permissions and sharing).
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Aura, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
  • Experience with integrating third-party applications using REST APIs and middleware.
