Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in a child’s educational journey?

We are a well-established education agency, known for connecting exceptional educators with schools where they can truly thrive. We’re currently seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil on the autistic spectrum within a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Bournemouth.

The Role:
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

  • Start Date: Summer Term (April 2025)

  • Location: Bournemouth

  • Hours: Full-time (term time only)

  • Duration: Summer Term initially, with potential for a permanent position for the right person

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored, one-to-one support, helping the pupil to access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop positive learning behaviours.

About You:
  • Experience supporting children with Autism (ASD) is essential

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Calm, patient, and nurturing approach

  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents

  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
