About the Role:

 As a SEN Coordinator, you will ensure that all students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), have equal access to a high-quality education and the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SEN provision across the school.
  • Provide strategic direction and support to ensure that students with SEN receive tailored, effective interventions.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement inclusive practices that foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Liaise with parents, external agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that the needs of SEN students are met.
  • Monitor the progress and achievement of students with SEN, using data to inform planning and interventions.
  • Support and advise staff on best practices for working with students with additional needs.

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
