About the Role:

 As a Secondary SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education tailored to individual student requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students with SEN.
  • Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and strategies to support students' academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes independence, resilience, and self-regulation.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience of working in a secondary school is preferred.
  • Experience of working with SEN students.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions, including behaviour management techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
