THE ROLE
As a Support & Inclusion Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals within Temporary Accommodation and Joint Living Properties (HMO). The position blends responsibilities of support and inclusion with landlord liaison and property procurement.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing face-to-face support to customers in temporary and supported accommodation settings.
  • Assisting customers in securing move-on accommodation.
  • Collaborating with landlords and liaising to secure housing solutions.
  • Conducting risk assessments and creating individualised support plans.
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including support services and external agencies.
  • Promoting tenancy sustainability and preventing homelessness.
  • Supporting procurement efforts to identify and secure suitable housing options.


THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, working within Temporary Accommodation, Supported Housing, or related fields.
Additional requirements include:

  • Knowledge of HMO properties and landlord liaison practices.
  • Strong understanding of housing legislation and homelessness prevention.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (required).


THE CONTRACT

  • Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
  • Duration: 3-month contract with potential for temp-to-perm.
  • Pay: 18.12 per hour LTD company rate / 15.45 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday).
  • Hybrid: 3 days per week in office, 2 days working from home
