Warehouse Operative

Role Overview: As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the production and shipping of orders accurately and on time. Your tasks will include picking and packing, assembling components, coding and labeling products, and consigning orders on courier systems. You will also ensure the smooth running and maintenance of our warehouse and production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing and Dispatch:
    • Prepare orders as per work orders and company procedures.
    • Pick inventory, code, and label goods.
    • Package goods to meet customer requirements and ensure safe shipping.
  • Warehouse Management:
    • Store all inventory in designated bins and create new bins as needed.
    • Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
    • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and production area.
  • Inbound Deliveries:
    • Check and report discrepancies in inbound deliveries.
    • Put away inbound deliveries efficiently.
  • Warehouse Supplies Management:
    • Maintain sufficient supplies for packaging and labelling.
    • Organize supplies for easy access.
  • Shipment Monitoring:
    • Track inbound and outbound shipments.
    • Escalate courier issues and communicate delivery problems to colleagues.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Liaise with other departments as required.
    • Produce reports upon request.
    • Participate in operations and sales meetings.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Develop an understanding of our products and new technologies to support your role.
