We are looking to recruit a Semi Senior or possible Senior to join our client's dedicated accounts team.
This vacancy offers excellent future prospects and will be perfect for a motivated, driven individual with a strong desire to progress and utilize their knowledge and skills.
The position will involve reporting to the partners and or client portfolio managers, you will take responsibility for producing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will also get involved in VAT, all tax returns and other accountancy duties on an ad-hoc basis. Ideally you will have audit experience to manage or assist with our audit clients.
This position demands someone qualified or part qualified (ACA/ ACCA qualifications) we will consider an individual qualified by experience. It is essential that you have a sound Practice experience for minimum of 3 years.
General Practice work to involve:
- Accounts Prep on IRIS
- Corporation and Personal Tax Returns on IRIS
- Assistance with Audits if desired
- Mixed Portfolio with some motor-racing clients, and suppliers to Mercedes Petronas F1 Team (they have also had an F1 Team as a client in the past and still work closely with several suppliers)
- Recommend SAGE and XERO for clients bookkeeping
- Our client is an approved training practice for around 6 years for both institutes, and are happy to sign off training records
- Staff currently either work 08:30am to 17:00 or 09:00am to 17:30
- 4% employers pension contribution
- 08:30 to 17:00 or 09:00 to 17:30
Annual holiday entitlement of 28 days inclusive of public/bank holidays. After three years of continuous service this increases to five working weeks. Thereafter an additional day for each complete year of service, up to maximum of six weeks
