This company, a major player in supplying chicken and turkey to the nation's top supermarkets and renowned restaurants, is on the lookout for a highly competent and motivated Finance Accounts Assistant to enhance their Finance Team at their advanced manufacturing site in Brackley. What You Will Do:

- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ERP period close processes, including control account reconciliations and currency revaluations.

- Conduct reconciliation of month-end intercompany balances.

- Prepare monthly VAT and European tax submissions for the UK, France, Spain, and the Netherlands.

- Ensure reconciliation of Statutory turnover to monthly VAT Return submission turnover.

- Handle monthly reconciliations and releases from group balance sheet accounts.

- Oversee preparation and submission of annual group PAYE settlement liability and relevant government compliance forms.

- Execute preparation and submission of Government statistical returns and audit analysis for year-end schedules.

What You Will Bring:

- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Part Qualified status.

- A solid understanding of accounting principles, including double entry, and VAT principles.

- Excellent numerical ability and experience in reconciliation work.

- Attention to detail, with a proficiency in using integrated ERP systems.

- The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, coupled with good communication skills.
