Job Opportunity: Project Engineer (Freelance) - Inverness
About the Role: Contract Scotland is partnering with a reputable construction and engineering firm renowned for delivering high-quality solutions to complex projects across the commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors. They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a 10 to 12-month period on a project based in Inverness.
Responsibilities: As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Project planning
- Project execution
- Quality control
- Providing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and quality
- Overseeing compliance and safety on site
- Verifying the accuracy of plans, drawings, and quantities
What We Offer:
- Immediate start with a 10 to 12-month contract, with potential for extended work
- Competitive daily rate: £350 per day
- Flexible payment options: Limited Company, PAYE, or CIS
Requirements:
- Minimum HNC qualification or equivalent in Civil Engineering
- Flexibility and ability to work independently
- Essential experience in civil engineering within a contracting environment
- Valid CSCS Card
