They seek a Client Manager to be the main point of contact for a varied portfolio of locally based clients, taking full responsibility for delivering accounts and tax services.

Reporting into the Partner, the firm take real pride in their craft, with the emphasis being on client relations, offering tailored advice and guidance for clients to realise their ambitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive and regular communication with clients, being the primary point of contact for a portfolio
  • Responsibility for overseeing the production of accounts and tax returns with a focus on quality and client satisfaction
  • Key supporting role in tax planning activities, expanding personal knowledge and confidence in more complex taxation and accounting issues
  • Opportunity to directly manage junior team members in their career progression

Requirements:

  • Prior accounts preparation experience from within an accountancy firm
  • IT skills including Excel and any accounting software (Xero, IRIS, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc, VT, Alpha etc)
  • Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and prioritise tasks
