About the Production Operator Role

Our client is seeking a skilled *** Production Operator *** to join their team in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in the production and assembly of components used in high-quality plastic enclosures, PCBs, and other electronic and mechanical products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling components, and ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Operator:

  • Operate and monitor machinery used in the production of plastic enclosures, PCBs, and related components.
  • Follow standardized operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent quality and output.
  • Assemble plastic enclosures, electronic, and mechanical components accurately, using assembly diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Conduct quality inspections on finished products, identifying and correcting defects as needed.
  • Assist with machine setup and changeovers for different production runs.
  • Monitor production output, identifying and reporting any operational issues to the Production Supervisor.
  • Perform soldering of PCBs and cable assemblies with precision and care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in quality control checks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support additional projects and tasks as required by management.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar production or assembly role is essential.
  • Experience working with plastic enclosures, PCB assembly, or mechanical components is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with operating production machinery and following technical assembly instructions.
  • Competence in soldering PCBs and cable assemblies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety protocols.
