What You Will Do:

Optimise machinery output and product quality while minimising plant downtime through preventative maintenance and efficient breakdown response.
Lead teams within specific areas or zones when acting as Lead Engineer.
Quickly and effectively respond to Mechanical, Electrical, and PLC control breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing improvements.
Ensure all activities adhere to company and legislative health and safety guidelines.
Mentor junior Maintenance Engineers and Apprentices, enhancing team skills and knowledge.
Manage contractors and produce Engineering Shift Reports when deputising for the Engineering Shift Manager.

What You Will Bring:

Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering or a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
6+ years of engineering experience, preferably with an Electrical & Control Engineering Bias.
Proficiency in PLC programming and familiarity with process machinery or equivalent equipment.
Strong leadership qualities, capable of making effective decisions and motivating others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
