What You Will Do:

- Lead your team during breakdowns, utilising your skills and experience to ensure effective and efficient corrective action.

- Carry out engineering maintenance in line with the maintenance schedule, minimising plant downtime and promoting good engineering practice.

- Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements to prevent future occurrences.

- Communicate unscheduled breakdowns and work with operations to minimise disruption.

- Adhere to company and legislative health and safety guidelines, actively highlighting possible areas of improvement.

- Utilise the CMMS system for spare parts, logging, and completing jobs, demonstrating basic problem-solving techniques to identify issues' root cause.

What You Will Bring:

- An Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship in either mechanical or electrical disciplines (BTEC & NVQ L3, HNC, HND).

- Experience in engineering, ideally within food manufacturing.

- Familiarity with process machinery or equivalent equipment and the ability to fault find.

- Mechanical fitting skills and the ability to mentor.

- A self-motivated attitude with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
