You will work alongside electronics & concept Design Engineers as part of a design team, to create bespoke products for varied & interesting projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in designing products for manufacture, to join a continually expanding company in a varied & interesting role. - Designing new products for manufacture
- Working with internal teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and profit
- Work with production teams to optimise the design for assembly and durability
- Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, including bills of materials (BOMB) and work instructions
The person:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical design
- Knowledge of product design & design for manufacture
- Fusion 360, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD modelling software
- Excellent time management, organization, problem solving & communication skills
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
