Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the design, installation, and maintenance of geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems
- Developing and implementing monitoring strategies to ensure project compliance
- Analysing geotechnical data and providing comprehensive reports and recommendations
- Collaborating with design teams to integrate monitoring requirements into project plans
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to present findings and address any concerns
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to during installation and monitoring activities
- Maintaining documentation and monitoring data for project records
- Leading a team of technicians and overseeing their work to ensure high standards are met
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in geotechnical engineering principles and instrumentation technologies
- Experience in designing and implementing monitoring strategies for various projects
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to geotechnical instrumentation
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience with cross-sector projects and multi-disciplinary teams
