Role: Quantity Surveyor

Civil Engineering Contractor

Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance & Benefits

Project: HS2

This is a great opportunity for a Surveyor to take the next step in their career, by working with a well established contractor on HS2 in Northamptonshire.

In this role, you will be responsible for tender pricing; risk assessments and contract drafting / negotiations.

You'll deal with Cost and Value reconciliations, Bottom Up and End Life Cost Reporting, Cash Management and much more. You will also need to build strong working relationships with the client, and key colleagues both internally and externally. A key art of this role will be contract administration which includes data reporting and record keeping

Qualifications:

  • Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
  • Previous experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor position.
  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts including options A, B and C.
  • Experience within a civils contractor environment is essential.
  • Clear communication skills to be able to liaise with a wide range of people and teams.
  • Driving licence is required for this role
