Assistant Accountant / Brackley
Role
Working in partnership with the Financial Accountant you will support all elements of the month-end close and statutory reporting.
Responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant include:
- Support the production of monthly management accounts, VAT returns and other regulatory financial requirements.
- Maintain the purchase, sales and general ledger.
- Work closely with the Financial Accountant to ensure all reporting requirements are met.
- Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
- Continuously improve processes throughout the ledgers.
- Ensure Balance Sheet Reconciliations are preformed and appropriate controls in place.
Profile
- Our client is open to candidates from different walks of life including (AAT, ACCA, CIMA). They are open to offering training contracts for further development.
- Strong experience across all purchase, sales and the general ledger.
- High attention to detail.
- Able to work within tight deadlines.

Salary & Benefits
The role of Assistant Accountant has a range of 30,000 - 35,000 plus excellent benefits.
