LTF Recruitment are working alongside a Secondary School based in Brackley who are looking to appoint a Psychology + Sociology Specialist Teacher

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS4 & KS5
  • Differentiating lesson content to meet a wide range of student's needs and abilities
  • Delivering examination content in line with the school examination board
  • Assessing children's work against the school's assessment framework
  • Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children
  • Promote the music department within the school and support with the schools after school theatrical performances.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Holds qualified teacher status (Non-Qualified Subject specialists are welcome to apply).
  • Is confident teaching KS3, KS4 aged pupils.
  • Has a background teaching Social Sciences within a Secondary School.
  • Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies.
  • Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make continued progress.
  • Is a good team player and willing to work cohesively with the departmental and pastoral team.
