Composite Fitter

About the Role

I am working with the dynamic motorsport business to recruit a composite fitter to join this fast paced manufacturing team

Key Responsibilities

  • Trim, bond, and assemble carbon fibre components using engineering drawings and manuals.
  • Assemble components, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Have a ca do attitude to problem solving
  • Maintain the highest quality standards for all composite components.
  • Work collaboratively with manufacturing engineering
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience in trimming/fitting a wide range of composite materials, ideally within Motorsport/F1 but other industries will be considered.
  • Well versed in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with air tools, hand tools, and adhesives.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical work approach.
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to assist peers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Happy to work on various shift patterns as required
