Orka Financial is currently partnering with a successful business based in Bracknell that is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join the team. This role reports into the Finance Director and has responsibility for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements and reporting. The role involves ensuring compliance with group financial regulations, and overseeing financial reporting, and involvement in managing internal controls and financial audits. The role will manage the finance team. Duties include,
Managing the team ensuring the accounting functions are performed in a timely and accurate manner. This will also involve mentoring the team, ensuring staff development, training, and performance management.
Financial reporting, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Treasury and cash flow management.
Leading the preparation of external audits.
Developing strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy of reporting.
The role requires a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Accountant with solid financial accounting experience in a controlling role, prior experience of preparing financial statements and managing the audit process.
The role is based in Bracknell, hybrid working. Paying up to £75000 (DOE)
