Orka Financial is currently partnering with a business based in Bracknell that is looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. They are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and great eye for detail to join the team. For this position they require the successful candidate to be ACCA/CIMA/ACA fully qualified and have solid experience within accountancy and finance.
Duties include,
Production and review of the monthly management accounts
- Prepare month end financial analysis reports for senior management
- Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts and liaise with non-finance departments to ensure that discrepancies are resolved.
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of year-end financial reports and schedules for the companies’ auditors.
- Assist the Financial Controller with reviewing the statutory accounts received from auditors
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT return
- Assist the Financial Controller with the preparations of the annual budget
- Oversee 2 junior team members
The role is based in Bracknell (there is parking) and operates hybrid working. Salary is £50000 - £55000 dependent upon experience.
