Accounts Assistant - £30,000 - £35,000 + benefits - Bracknell, Berkshire (5 days in the office)

FryerMiles is partnering with a leading SME organisation in Bracknell, Berkshire, to recruit an Accounts Assistant. This is a newly created role for an exciting business growing across several different revenue streams. The Accounts Assistant will be well organised and motivated with attention to detail. 

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a small team, you will be responsible for all day to day processing of finance transactions with a huge scope to develop across a wide range of other activities.

The duties of the Accounts Assistant include:

  • Processing of supplier invoices, credit card transactions and employee expenses
  • Daily maintenance of the cash books and banking
  • Setting up supplier payments for approval
  • Reconciling bank accounts and credit card balances
  • Producing other reconciliations and reports as required

  The successful Accounts Assistant will:

  • Have excellent attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player with the ability to work under their own initiative and pressure but comfortable to ask for support.
  • Have good Excel skills (ability to do VLookUps and Pivot Tables independently)
  • Experience of Xero would be an advantage but not a prerequisite.
