A Day in the Life of a CPN: Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of adults aged 18 to 65. Your core responsibilities include:
• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk evaluations.
• Developing and implementing personalised care and treatment plans.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions to support recovery.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses.
• Carrying a caseload, medication management, and participating in duty rota.
• Overseeing and mentoring students. • Keeping accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards.
• Staying up to date with the latest best practices in mental health care.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Current and valid NMC registration and PIN.
• Experience working with adults in a CMHT setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Car driver essential.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality mental health & nursing care.
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a flexible full-time position requiring availability Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some possibility for part-remote working. The contract is for 3 months ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
