An opportunity has arisen for an experienced LGV Driver to join a market-leading pump solutions company, supporting branch operations across Bracknell and the surrounding region.
This role is key to ensuring the safe, professional, and efficient delivery and collection of specialist pump equipment, working closely with internal teams and customers to maintain high service standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Load, deliver, and collect pumps and associated equipment between branches and customer sites.
- Ensure compliance with all Department of Transport Regulations and The Highway Code, maintaining high safety standards at all times.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly, and ensuring vehicles remain in a roadworthy condition.
- Operate a lorry-mounted crane to assist with the safe installation of pumping equipment at customer sites.
- Carry out risk assessments before loading and unloading, ensuring loads are positioned and secured safely for transport.
- Ensure full compliance with tachograph regulations, driver hours, and Working Time Directive rules.
- Keep accurate vehicle logbooks and submit mileage readings after each fuel refill.
- Engage professionally with customers on-site, ensuring all deliveries and collections match branch paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle, including washing the exterior and keeping the cab tidy.
- Assist with on-call duties as required, supporting business operations outside standard hours.

Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- Full LGV Class 2 driving licence (no more than 6 points).
- Full UK driving licence with the ability to operate company vehicles safely.
- Previous experience driving within a similar industry (plant hire, construction, utilities, or logistics).
- Physically fit, comfortable working at heights and handling equipment when securing loads.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, ensuring smooth interactions on-site.
- Basic IT proficiency, with experience using tablets for checking and inputting data.
Preferred:
- HIAB/ALMI certificate.
- Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Lorry Loader Crane Operators Licence.
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (or willingness to train).
- CPCS Lorry Loader OR CPCS Loading and Securing Certification.
- Driver Qualification Card and/or Periodic CPC Certification.
- ADR Qualification (preferred but not essential).
- First Aid Certificate.
