Responsibilities as the Head Chef
- Leading and managing all aspects of the kitchen, including GP, ordering, KPIs, and supplier relationships
- Creating seasonal dishes based on the best available local produce
- Overseeing the butchery of whole animals and ensuring waste is minimised
- Delivering consistently high food standards in line with the gastropubs 1 Rosette status
- Developing and mentoring the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient service
- Designing and managing weekly specials to keep the menu fresh and exciting
