We are a leading plant and machinery hire company based in Bracknell renowned for our high-quality equipment and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Field Sales Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with an existing customer base, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your designated territory to expand our market presence.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process from quotation to closing, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical knowledge to provide expert advice and solutions to customers, enhancing their understanding and trust in our products.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, demonstrating your progress and achievements.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in field sales within the plant and machinery hire industry or a similar technical engineering field.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of plant and machinery, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to manage and grow an existing customer base while successfully winning new business.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-Motivated: A proactive, results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
