This role involves leading marketing initiatives and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive growth in the retail district.

The Role:

As a Marketing Executive, you will:

  • Lead the creation, execution, and measurement of the Marketing Execution Plan for the Retail District.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned shopper group, including their needs, wants, and shopping habits.
  • Collaborate with Category Development Managers, Key Account Managers, and Area Portfolio & Trade Marketing Managers to identify and seize growth opportunities.
  • Gain a solid understanding of brands, products, and brand campaigns to effectively promote them.
  • Build strong relationships with key marketing personnel at customer accounts to align marketing efforts with their go-to-market strategies.
  • Evaluate the financial viability of marketing tactics, manage the budget, and analyse marketing performance to optimise future strategies.

The Candidate:

The ideal Marketing Executive will have:

  • A degree in Marketing or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in Shopper or Consumer Marketing or Account Management within the FMCG B2C Market.
  • Strong analytical aptitude.
  • Experience in project and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Additional qualifications such as commercial acumen, project management and prioritisation skills, and strong interpersonal skills will be beneficial.
