Our Client is a Chemical Distribution Company. They currently have a vacancy for an Internal Sales Coordinator - Personal Care. This position will be office based near Bracknell, Berkshire and is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Head of Personal Care

Job Purpose

  • The primary function of the role is to work as the Internal Sales Coordinator for our Clients Personal Care Division, supporting the Account Managers in all aspects of the sales process and their relationships with their customers.
  • This role involves liaising closely with the external sales team and other internal teams.
  • It requires someone who is comfortable in an active sales environment, ready to turn their hand to any aspect of working within a busy SME as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be first point of contact for inbound customer enquiries of a technical and commercial nature to the satisfaction of the customer and within a specified timescale. This can include samples, quotes, product information, regulatory forms and other technical and commercial requests.
  • Confidently and proactively contact customers to provide and request technical/commercial information.
  • Handle multiple enquiries and follow-ups at the same time, with differing timescales and resolutions, whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Act as a proactive source of support for the field sales team, facilitating smooth running of the sales process.
  • Preparation of reports, presentations and figures for internal & external use.
  • Maintain Customer Relationship Management database and other sales data systems.
  • Liaise closely with other departments in the company, mainly logistics / order processing, samples admin, regulatory and finance. Additional overlap with our Pharmaceutical and Industrial Sales Teams.
  • Cover for Personal Care Sales Team as needed.
  • Deputise for Personal Care team members as required and anything else the company may ask you to do.

Qualifications / Experience

Cultural fit for this role is essential. Our Client is looking for a can-do person who is happy to get stuck in to get the job done, whether the task falls into supporting sales, marketing, technical, business development, logistics, or regulatory. Full training will be provided where necessary.

  • Chemistry / Science graduate or equivalent
  • Friendly, efficient customer service attitude & phone manner.
  • Highly proficient at Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • The ability to listen and interpret customer needs.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with data.
  • Forward-thinking & proactive attitude to problem solving.
  • A social person who enjoys their job.
  • Sales and commercial experience (Preferred but not essential).

In return our Client is offering a basic salary of up to £30,000 per annum plus benefits
