Mechanical Project Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager to join an established and independently owned Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning contractor based in Berkshire.

The company are a well respected medium-sized Air Conditioning and Mechanical Building Services contractor who provide a full range of HVAC services from design through to installation and commissioning to various sectors including Commercial, Private Hospitals, and Laboratories, with typical project values ranging from £250k up to £2m, and as a result of continued growth an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the team.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee and manage HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Your typical working week will consist of 2 days in the office, and 3 days visiting sites. Projects are predominantly located along the M4 corridor, into London, and surrounding home counties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage project development from start to finish, having responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the project(s) assigned to you
  • Design review
  • Procurement of plant, materials & labour
  • Technical submittals
  • Overall Cost Management
  • Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the projectlife-cycle
  • Reporting into the Managing Director

Essential Requirements:

  • Mechanical Building Services experience operating as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role, i.e. HVAC Project Manager
  • Proven track record of delivering HVAC Mechanical projects
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Remuneration Package:

The company are offering a base salary of £65,000 to £73,000according to experience, plus £5k Car Allowance, Travel expenses, Bonus scheme, Private Healthcare, Pension, Company events, Phone and Laptop, 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays. The company also provide an enjoyable, supportive and rewarding working environment.
