Are you an analytical expert in the credit assessment field?

Are you seeking a fantastic new contract opportunity initially for 6 months with a leading global automotive organisation where you can make a difference to the department?

We are looking for a highly organised individual with the ability to coordinate in a small team of 4, working alongside the Customer and Credit Assessment Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a full review of 100 applications approximately per day, for balances more than £30k.

You will be recognising key indicators of potential fraud and financial crime and where necessary AML Suspicions and CIFAS forms will be raised.    

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Using a scorecard grade based system, in conjunction with credit reference and fraud data, assess applications for finance. 
  • Working with fraud tools, you will recognise key indicators of potential fraud 
  • Excellent judgement to ensure decisions meet the lending criteria
  • Experience of Experian consumer data beneficial 
  • Review customer open banking data in order to ensure they are able to afford proposed monthly commitment 
  • Must have B2C -consumer credit experience 

Profile

This role will suit an experienced analyst with exposure in underwriting facilities in the motor industry or equivalent. You must be commercially astute with excellent IT/Excel/systems skills.  We are looking for an ambitious proactive individual who holds excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and has the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out customer and due diligence assessments, particularly on PEP and Sanctions customers and be familiar with FCA regulatory sourcebook CONC.
