Description
- Managing outstanding credit balances and reducing debtor days.
- Ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments.
- Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
- Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems.
- Checking and approving credit notes prepared by other departments.
- Providing accounts information to internal departments as needed.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Experience in a Credit Control role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
