Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a special needs student, ensuring they have access to a safe and nurturing learning environment. This position is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to a special needs student, assisting with personal care and daily activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Assist with classroom management and organization.
- Monitor and report on the student’s progress and well-being.
Requirements:
- Experience working with special needs students, particularly in a school setting.
