Are you an experienced Electrical Technician looking for a new challenge? I a recruiting for an dynamic Estates and Facilities Management team in Guildford! They are seeking a skilled professional to ensure electrical systems are safe, efficient, and fully operational.

As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the premises across multiple sites. Your expertise in three-phase systems and compliance with statutory inspection and testing requirements will be invaluable. You’ll report any failing plant or assets, maintain plant areas, and respond effectively to maintenance demands. Your work will ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Environmental systems and procedures.

The Role

Maintain all electrical systems, ensuring compliance with statutory inspection and testing requirements.

Deliver an effective response to maintenance demands

Carry out multi-skilled tasks where relevant training/experience can be demonstrated.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Recognised City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ/technician qualification in Electrical installation, fault finding, and maintenance.

Thorough knowledge of work practices, processes, and procedures relevant to the role.

A working knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act, IEE Wiring Regulations (18th edition), COSHH, and other relevant legislation.

Understanding of electrical installations/systems and willingness to attend formal update training if required.

Experience of diagnosing problems on engineering systems is desirable.

Must be able to drive and hold a current full EU license or equivalent permanent licence.

Willingness to undertake training in other trade disciplines.
