Description

Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Collect, analyse, and interpret sales, revenue, and market data to provide actionable insights.
    • Generate and maintain regular performance reports for internal stakeholders.
    • Assist in forecasting trends and identifying business growth opportunities.

Financial Analysis:

    • Support budget preparation and financial planning activities.
    • Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting variances and potential risks.
    • Assist in developing financial models to support business decisions.

Market Research:

    • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify industry trends and benchmarks.
    • Provide insights on pricing strategies, consumer behavior, and market positioning.

Commercial Support:

    • Assist in developing pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
    • Support contract analysis and assist in reviewing key commercial terms.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for improving customer value and commercial performance.

Stakeholder Communication:

    • Present insights and findings to senior management and key stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, and marketing.

Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for process optimization and recommend improvements.
    • Develop tools and templates to improve data analysis efficiency.

Profile

A successful Junior Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. (Not essential)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
