Working within a team of 3 this role will be reporting into the FP&A Supervisor to provide credible financial analysis and insight to support the global business units to deliver their goals through sound business decision making.  Although a small team, this role will allow a lot of room for growth and the chance to partner with other areas of the business and develop your knowledge around the industry within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. This position will enable you to enhance value creation through data analytics, visualisation and actionable insight.

Core Responsibilities will include

  • Enhanced utilisation of data and systems to drive profitable growth for all business units
  • Assist in development of strategy and oversee application, publication and explanation of data.
  • Develop and implement new and more in-depth approaches to understanding and analysing the business environment
  • Translate data into viable strategies and tactics to maintain current and acquire new market share.
  • Model and develop appropriate data to meet needs, including long range planning models. 
  • Develop new ways to visualise data and provide insight for better decision making, including scenario planning.
  • Consolidation of regional volume forecasts used to support business decision making and planning.
  • Take a leading role in cost estimates and cost consolidation data projects
  • Provide month end analysis, trends and actionable insights to drive tactical decision making to deliver annual targets.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of general information and data on our customers and competition to assist in maximizing our understanding and awareness of potential changes in our relationships with them.

To be successful in this role you have sound knowledge and understanding of accounting processes and procedures alongside the ability to manage multiple projects at one time. You will a keen interest in analytical work and previous experience within management accounts or large data analytics. You will have an inquisitive mind and be keen to support other areas of the business when required.

The role is fully office based with free onsite parking, close to local bus and train routes and provide a subsidized staff canteen onsite. The business operate on a flexi time model with a 35 hour week and the option for an early finish on Fridays at 2.30pm.
