KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Assessor/Trainer for a home/field-based position covering Berkshire and Surrey.
The salary ranges from £32,000 to £37,000, with an additional bonus scheme that can provide up to £10,000 OTE based on qualifications and experience.
Candidates must hold a recognized Assessor award or a Level 3 teaching qualification, and have at least 2 years of management-level experience in a Residential Childcare setting.
Applicants are required to have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare and a full, clean UK driving license.
Duties include assessing learners, supporting them with Functional Skills, conducting online training sessions, and managing documentation on learners' progress.

Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare ideally up to Level 5
Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency at Management level (Deputy or above) within a Residential Childcare setting.
Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
