Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: 18 per hour (19 per hour with an HGV license)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 45 hours
OTE: 42,200 - 45,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Technician to join our team in Bracknell. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy goods vehicles to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HGVs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
- Support colleagues and maintain a clean, organized working environment.
- Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Proven experience working as an HGV Technician or similar role.
- Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid HGV license is desirable (higher pay rate applies).
- Competitive hourly rate (18 per hour, 19 per hour with an HGV license).
- Generous overtime rates (1.5x pay after 45 hours per week).
- On-target earnings (OTE) of 42,200 - 45,000 per annum.
