We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Director to join an international company located in Bracknell, offering a competitive salary of up to £100,000 on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the Inventory Management strategy aimed at optimising investments while delivering exceptional service to customers. This position is vital for promoting and advancing inventory best practices and will involve collaboration with leadership and various stakeholders/business partners.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in a similar capacity within a fast-paced environment.Role responsibilities of the Inventory Director include:

  • Develop and implement the Inventory Management strategy to enhance investment optimisation and ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Collaborate with supply chain leaders and business partners to identify opportunities for improving inventory processes.
  • Lead the Inventory team in creating and executing optimisation plans, including forecasting future demand.
  • Establish standards and metrics for inventory management to drive efficiency and best practices across the organisation.
  • Mentor and develop team members, focusing on leadership potential and supporting career development initiatives.

Person Specification of the Inventory Director:

  • Minimum of 10 years in inventory management and collaboration with business operations; 8 years in management and change leadership.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence teams regardless of reporting relationships.
  • Proven experience in leading change management efforts and overcoming resistance through effective communication.
  • Experience managing high level of SKUs

Salary

Up to £100,000

Hybrid: x2 days a week working from home
