About the role:
BSRIA membership provides your organisation with up to date information and guidance to help your business perform more effectively, profitably and deliver more efficient buildings, providing an environment that allows the occupant to thrive. The Membership Operations Manager role is integral to the implementation of the strategic membership plan. Ensuring high levels of operational excellence, membership engagement, and value, it will oversee the delivery of a comprehensive member events programme and play a key role in achievement of the plan through successful member operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the membership engagement programme with targeted key contacts.
- Develop and project manage the member events programme, including set up, content, liaison, management of bookings process and event delivery. Attendance as required.
- Manage the subscription renewals process, including invoicing, payment methods and collection.
- Collate, generate and co-ordinate content in preparation for membership communications, including newsletter, activity programme, case studies etc.
- Oversee incoming membership leads, applications and onboarding process.
- Co-ordinate the membership resignations process in line with procedure.
- Gather member and competitor intelligence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop a member focused digital experience throughout the annual membership cycle.
- Ensure high levels of operational effectiveness, including member records, systems and processes.
- Maintain efficient and effective day-to-day processes, coordination, and exceptional customer service.
- Work in accordance with membership quality procedures and practices.
- Any other duties that commensurate with the role.
About you:
- Excellent IT knowledge and skills (Microsoft packages) and familiarity with CRM, finance and website content management systems.
- Excellent organisational
- Experienced in project management or event
- Experienced working independently, in a team and collaborative environments.
- Highly developed communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to use own initiative and prioritise Attention to detail a must.
