Are you a Media Planning Specialist, looking to secure a 6 month contract with the potential to be extended / go permanent?

£160-£200 day rate + 50/50 hybrid working + 35 hour week + 1pm finish on Fridays!

Honda UK are looking for an experienced Media Planning professional, to join their team in Bracknell on a hybrid basis. This role is key for assisting in the overall media strategy for Brand and Product Launch in Europe, working in collaboration with the other members of the HME Marketing team to deliver joint media activations.

Working closely with the media agency and the marketing departments across 16 European subsidiaries, this role will also be instrumental in ensuring the implementation of the European central media strategy within the approved guidelines and budgets.

Main Responsibilities:

·Assist the Marketing team with all activities relating to HME European media planning.

·Coordinate central campaign media strategy.

·Build a strong working relationship with local marketing contacts in all Honda subsidiaries.

·Liaise with all stakeholders to support the briefing, creation, sign off and production of all media plans.

·Liaise with Honda subsidiaries and media agency to maintain accurate media spend forecasts and budget tracking.

·Link and co-ordinate with key HME stakeholders including Sales, PR, Product planning departments.

·Raise necessary purchase orders (PO) for each campaign in line with agreed budgets for each subsidiary.

·Work closely with HME Business Administration to support month end process.

·Report media spent per channel, per market on a regular cadence and supply ad-hoc reports to management.

Candidate requirements:

  • Demonstratable marketing experience, preferably media related
  • Highly proficient PC skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Capable of presenting to a range of audiences including internal meetings and agencies in a confident manner.
  • High level of numerical competence with a strong attention to detail to be able to work closely with HME Management accountant.
  • A logical thinker with a methodical approach, seeking to continuously improve processes.
  • Very well organised with the ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Natural communicator and negotiator able to build and maintain good relationships across all cultures and disciplines
