An inclusive specialist school for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs in Bracknell is looking for Teaching Assistants to support children aged 8 to 18 with trauma, mental health, and behavioral challenges, including Looked After Children. Graduates qualified in Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology would be ideal, but candidates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply!

This Mental Health Specialist School in Bracknell has excellent transport links and is seeking full-time staff to start ASAP. The SEN students all have significant developmental trauma, emotional needs, and behavioral challenges, so the successful teaching assistant will play a crucial role in supporting each individual's well-being and personal development.

This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for the successful mental health assistant to work alongside therapists and psychologists on-site at the school. In this role, you will gain practical, frontline experience with young people who have significant needs, learning how to communicate and support them with the help of trained professionals and experienced team members. Additionally, you will gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs such as Autism and ADHD. This position is excellent for anyone aspiring to become an educational or occupational psychologist, therapist, counsellor, teacher, or even a criminal justice officer!

A Level 3 qualification or higher is required, and a Degree is highly desirable.
