We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced French Teacher to enhance our outstanding Modern Languages Department.
- Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality French lessons that engage and inspire students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and the love for French language and culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the department to develop innovative teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Participate actively in school events and extracurricular activities related to the French language and culture.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Degree in French or a closely related subject.
- Proven experience teaching French at secondary school level, including preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A strong commitment to personal and professional development, with a passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest educational strategies.
