Join our dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Bracknell, committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for all our students. We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to contribute to the academic and personal development of our students.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to suit diverse learning styles.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement and deliver individualized learning plans effectively.
  • Support students in both classroom settings and during extracurricular activities, promoting inclusive education.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere conducive to student success.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate student records and progress reports.
  • Actively participate in school events and contribute positively to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating collaboration and cooperation.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of students and the school environment.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education, SEN, or child development are advantageous.
